According to Historical Relics’ Management of Con Dao district, only in May the district welcomed 3,948 tourists, so the total number of tourists came here in the first 5 month are nearly 12,000 tourists, reaches 51% of yearly plan, up 62% compared same period last year. However, the number of foreign tourists reached only 1,289 people accounting for 32% of yearly plan, 19% lower than the same period last year.

The tourism agents in districts welcomed and served 10,763 tourists, 71% higher than same period last year with average spending of about VND 1 million per tourist. The capacity of tourist accommodations in Con Dao district recorded 76%.
